What We Collect & How We Use It
In addition to your contact information, the HairBud.ai application collects the following to provide our core service:
Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance
HairBud's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically regarding Google User Data:
Access: We access your Google email address and basic profile information when you sign in using Google OAuth. If you choose to connect your Google Business Profile, we access OAuth authentication tokens.
Use: We use your Google email and profile data solely to authenticate and manage your HairBud account. We use Google Business Profile access strictly to automate the publishing of your haircut photos and captions to your authorized business page.
Storage: Google user data (emails, names, and authentication tokens) is stored securely within our encrypted Firebase database.
Sharing: We do not sell, transfer, or share your Google user data with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Data is only processed internally to provide the core HairBud service.
Other Social Media Integrations: With your explicit permission, we connect to your Instagram and TikTok accounts for cross-platform posting.
Client Photos & Media: We temporarily process and store photos or videos uploaded by your clients via SMS.
Third-Party Services: We utilize Twilio for SMS, Firebase for database hosting, and getlate.dev for social media API routing.
Mobile Information & SMS
Barbers who use our application may collect phone numbers from their customers during the booking or service process.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Customers provide explicit consent by voluntarily entering their phone number. Message frequency varies (up to 2 per appointment). Message and data rates may apply. Opt out by replying STOP.
What We Don't Do
- Sell your information to third parties
- Share mobile information for marketing purposes
- Spam you with unrelated offers
- Share your data without your consent
Account & Data Deletion (Your Rights)
You can request complete deletion of your account and data at any time via app settings or by emailing [email protected].
